Booking Policy Update
Effective 1 December 2025
From 1 December 2025, a 50% deposit will be required to secure bookings at Clay.
This deposit can be refunded if you cancel up to 24 hours prior to the appointment. Thereafter, it is non-refundable, including for no-shows.
This adjustment aligns Clay with standard industry practice. It helps reduce last-minute cancellations, ensures smoother scheduling, and supports fairness, stability, and sustainability for our team and our clients.
Here’s how it will work:
Bookings made online will require a credit card or Gift Voucher code, and 50% of the cost of your appointment will be charged.
Face to face bookings can also be secured via credit card, but you can also pay via bank transfer or cash: ask the desk for more info.
Once your appointment is complete we will take the balance and can accept any payment method, refunding the deposit if you’d rather pay cash for instance.
